Hamilton County is moving ahead with plans to acquire land for the construction of a new, modern animal shelter. Currently, Cincinnati Animal CARE operates out of the old SPCA shelter at 3949 Colerain Avenue, a structure that’s woefully outdated and lacks adequate capacity to serve the needs and expectations of our community today. As the county develops plans and begins construction of the new shelter, we will be actively addressing CAC’s needs for life-saving equipment and other necessary expenditures.
